Hello everybody,

Welcome to the Young Astronauts Korea (YAK; 한국과학우주청소년단) homepage!

This is a place where our goal is to foster promising scientific talent amidst the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

After the United States, Russia, and Japan, we’re the 4th member of the Young Astronauts International group and have sustained exchanges with over 30 countries worldwide.

Since our establishment in 1989, we have been working with Korean youth for the past 30 years, nurturing them to take full advantage of their creative talent to lead the future of science in Korea.

Young Astronauts Korea (YAK) is the special association inc. established under the YAK Law #14839, and we participate widely in science education programs both in-school and extracurricular throughout the country.

In the 21st century, we constantly push ourselves to face new challenges in an era of flourishing innovation.
